How It Works
Most cleaning products are designed to remove what you can see. Ours are designed to remove what causes it — and then change the surface so the problem struggles to return.
Free of PFAS and harmful substances
None of our products contain PFAS — the “forever chemicals” now being restricted across the EU because they don't break down in the environment or in the body. A great many water-repellent treatments still rely on them, precisely because they work well. Ours achieve the same result through different chemistry. No PFAS, no chlorine, no harsh solvents, no fumes.
Enzymes break the dirt down
An enzyme is a natural protein that speeds up a specific chemical reaction. Your body uses them to digest food — breaking large, complex substances into smaller pieces that can simply be absorbed or washed away.
Our cleaners use the same principle. The enzymes target grease, protein, starch and other organic residue, breaking the molecules apart until what's left rinses away with water. Nothing needs to be scrubbed loose, because there's nothing holding on any more.
This is why enzyme cleaning works on the problems scrubbing never quite fixes: a slow drain, a grease trap, a smell that keeps coming back. Bleach masks those. Enzymes remove the cause.
Protecting the surface
Once a surface is genuinely clean, it's ready to be protected. Depending on the material, we do that in one of two ways. Neither is a coating painted on top that wears away over time.
Nano protection
A treatment that bonds with the surface, filling the microscopic pores that dirt, limescale and water normally cling to. The surface stays breathable and looks unchanged; it simply becomes far less hospitable to the things that dirty it.
Water beads and runs off instead of drying into limescale. Dust doesn't settle as easily. Mould and algae find it much harder to establish.
Ennobling — adding a property to the material itself
This is where our name comes from. Rather than treating the surface, some of our products penetrate deep into the material and give it a new permanent property — water repellency, resistance to salt and frost — from the inside out.
SiVaLoc1000 penetrates 20–30 mm into stone and concrete. You can't see it. The colour doesn't change, the material still breathes. But it now behaves differently: water runs off instead of soaking in, so algae, moss and frost damage have far less to work with.
Because the property is part of the material rather than a layer on top of it, there's nothing to wear off. This is protection measured in years, not months.
Why we don't say it “kills” anything
You'll notice we avoid words like “eliminates bacteria” or “kills mould”. That's deliberate.
Our products aren't biocides — they don't poison anything. What they do is change the conditions on a surface so that bacteria, mould and algae struggle to establish and grow there. Less moisture held on the surface, less organic residue to feed on, fewer pores to settle into.
It's a different approach: instead of repeatedly killing what grows back, you make the surface a place where it doesn't easily grow in the first place. It's also why these products are safe to use around children, pets and food preparation areas.
